ArcGis error when attempting the interpolation function in the Spatial Analyst tool within ArcGIS.

Error Message:

you do not have the necessary license to use this tool error 010248 there are not spatial analyst or 3D licenses currently available or enabled.

Are the extensions enabled? In version 10, do the following:

Open ArcMap.
Click Customize and then Extensions.

Are the proper extensions enabled? If not, please check the appropriate boxes.
