How to Interact With The System:
- All interaction with the system is done using the WebEx Touch Panel found on the podium:
Please Note that while there are options for Zoom and Microsoft Teams meetings on the WebEx panel, neither are officially supported by Arkansas Tech University and you may run into compatibility issues. We recommend to only use the panels to join and host WebEx meetings.
How to Connect a Laptop or Other Device:
In the cubby, there is an HDMI cable.
- To connect a PC laptop, if your laptop has an HDMI port, use the HDMI cable for both video and audio.
How to Turn on the Projectors:
- As this is a Webex HyFlex room, the projectors will automatically turn on when the system senses movement in the room.
- If they do not turn on when you first enter, they will turn on upon interacting with the WebEx touch panel.
How to Share Audio in the Room:
- Please note that in WebEx rooms, for computer audio to come out of the room speakers, you must be sharing your screen through the WebEx Touch Panel on the podium.
How to Turn on the Microphones:
- The podium mic has an on/off button at the base of it.
- Inside the podium are 2 wireless handheld mics and a wireless lapel mic. Each has a power button. All 4 mics should work right after being powered on.
