No. When you enable the Respondus Lockdown browser for a quiz, the password field under the test options is populated with a string of random characters. That password must remain in the password field for this test to work properly. The students NEVER have to type in that password; it is just used by the system.

Please follow the steps below to resolve the issue, once it occurs:

  • Go to Course Tools under COURSE MANAGEMENT.
         
  • Click on the Respondus Lockdown Browser link.
          
  • Then select "Fix It" wherever you see it available beside a listed test.
