Sometimes, links in a copied Blackboard course will direct the user to files in the older course rather than the current one. When that happens, you will need to manually edit the broken links to point to the current files.
To do this, first make sure that all your necessary files are uploaded into the Files section of your Blackboard course. (In the Control Panel, click Files, then click on the Course ID.)
To copy the link to the files, right-click on the filename and click "Copy Link Location" ("Copy Shortcut" in Internet Explorer).
Once the file address is copied, navigate to the assignment with the broken link. Edit the assignment and paste the correct link where the broken one is. Once you save the assignment, the link should be working properly.
