You can temporarily change the name of your course in Blackboard from the course control panel. Go into Customization, and the name is listed at the top. You can modify it here, and submit your change.
However, due to the SIS integration, the name will change back each time the feed is run. To permanently change the course name, you must contact the Registrar's office to have the official course name changed in Banner.
The course ID is permanent and cannot be changed.
