The Blackboard Learning System is a virtual learning environment and course management system developed by Blackboard, Inc. It is used as the primary course management system here at Arkansas Tech University. Its main purposes are to add online elements to courses traditionally delivered face-to-face and to develop completely online courses with few or no face-to-face meetings.
As Blackboard is a web-based software system, there is no need to download anything. Blackboard can be found at https://bblearn.atu.edu , and you log in with your OneTech user ID and password.
Once you are logged in, classes that you are enrolled in and that your instructor has made available will populate your "Courses" tab.
NOTE: Not all classes are Blackboard enabled, and this is at an instructor's discretion.
