While recreational activity on ResNet is not prohibited, and the Office of Information Systems (OIS) does not block or throttle recreational traffic, OIS only supports applications and protocols necessary for the completion of course work.


Intermittent connectivity could be caused by any number of factors including, but not limited to, on-campus network/wifi issues, off-campus Internet issues, issues with the client device, etc.  Please contact the Campus Support Center and provide the following information so that your issue can be investigated:

  • The location where you had the issue
  • Your device's MAC address
  • Whether you're connected via a wired or wireless connection
  • What time you encountered the issue
