Respondus LockDown Browser™ is a custom browser used in lieu of traditional browsers (Edge, Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc) for Exams in Blackboard. When students use Respondus LockDown Browser, they are unable to print, access other websites other than Blackboard, or access other applications than the LockDown Browser. When an assessment is started, students are "locked" into it until they submit it for grading. There is no cost to students for the browser.
