From a content area in Blackboard, click on the filename to be opened and select Open With.
The proper program should be selected. Click Okay.
This should open the file for viewing in the Blackboard desktop, unless the instructor has determined that the file should be opened in a new window.
Click either Open or Save when prompted.
Click the X in the upper right hand corner to return to the Blackboard course.
If you have difficulty opening a file from within Blackboard, try saving it to your computer and then opening it.
