Before you do the course copy, you will need to do some house keeping in the destination course.  Go into the destination course (the one you are copying to) and do the following so you will not have duplicate federal attendance data in it after the course copy is complete:


·        1.  Delete the Federal Attendance Module from the course menu:

·         2. Delete the Policy Agreement quiz under Tests, Surveys, and Pools area:





3. Delete the Student Resource module from the course menu:





Now you are ready to copy material in to this course.


Log into Blackboard, and go into the course you want to copy the content from.

 

From the course menu, choose Packages and Utilities, and then Course Copy.

 

Next is will ask which type of copy.  You will always want to choose Copy Course Materials into an Existing Course.

 

Under Destination Course ID, you will choose the course ID of the course you want to copy the course into.  Note:  You have to be an instructor in the destination course.

 

Next you will Select All, to copy all of the course content into the destination course.  ** NOTE **  You must copy the grade center to ensure that assignments and tests copy over correctly.

 

Under Files Attachments, the Copy Links and Copies of the Content should be checked.

 

Under Enrollments, you will leave that blank.  You never want to include the enrollments in the copy.

 

Next, click Submit in the lower right corner.

 

Once the copy is finished go into the destination course, and check to see if the content is there.
