Note: You can recall an email message in Outlook that was sent by mistake only if the recipient has not opened the email yet.




  1. Click on Sent Items
  2. Double click on the email message you want to recall.  This will open the message in it's own window.



  1. Click on Actions
  2. Click on Recall This Message




  1. Make sure Delete unread copies of this message is selected.
  2. Click on OK
