This room is equipped with an Extron control system. With this control system, you can turn the projector on and off, adjust the volume, and switch between different input sources (PC, document camera, etc.). It may be on the wall behind you, or it could be installed directly into the podium that you’re using. On this panel, you’ll find the following controls:

On/Off: These buttons control the power for the projector. The buttons will flash while the projector is warming up or shutting down. During this time, you won’t be able to use any other buttons on the panel.

Source (PC, DVD, Doc Cam, etc.): These buttons switch the input on the projector. Changing the video source also changes the audio source. (For example, the PC audio will only play when the PC source is selected.)

Volume: Turning the volume knob will raise or lower the current source’s volume, indicated by green and red lights. (A red light indicates that the volume is at its maximum.)

Troubleshooting

If the projector isn’t showing what you want it to show, make sure that the proper input is selected on the button panel, indicated by the orange light.

If the volume seems too low or too high, check the volume lights to see if it needs to be adjusted on the button panel. (A red light indicates that the volume is at its maximum level.) Otherwise, check the volume on your PC.

If you push a button and nothing happens, make sure the projector isn’t in the warm-up or cool-down process, indicated by a flashing On or Off button.
