Your room is equipped with a Lecture Capture camera, located on the ceiling near the back of the room.
This camera is connected to the instructor PC, and is available as an option in your lecture capture and web conferencing software (Kaltura Classroom, Webex Meetings, etc.).
Using the remote, you can control the pan, tilt, and zoom features of the camera. In addition, we have set up a few camera presets to make it easier to show the material you want. These presets are generally a close-up shot of the instructor podium, a shot of the entire whiteboard/chalkboard, and then close-up shots of smaller sections of the board. You can access these presets by pressing the small numerical keys on the remote.
There is no microphone attached to this camera, so you’ll need to continue using your existing microphone options when recording.
