On January 4th 2022 the McGraw Hill Connect module in Blackboard was updated. If you are utilizing McGraw-Hill content in your course before this date the previous content will no longer be available in the course. You must re-pair the course with McGraw HIll Connect with the following steps:
- Navigate to the content area you’d like the McGraw Hill content to appear in
- Click Build Content then click McGraw Hill Connect – LTI 1.3
- For a new course, click Pair with a new Connect Course.
Search for the course text using the title, author or subject. Lastly, select Create Course.
McGraw Hill has provided video tutorials for instructors. The full playlist can be viewed here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vxwuZN6MKBE&list=PLqmcJVdRMoi2v7R3QgBA7oU_nd3l6d0hZ&index=1
- Creating an assignment 1 (Assignments): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RuOGxTX5qfU
- Creating an assignment 2 (Preferences): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ctrAaE4IGk0
- Once the assignment has been created click the checkbox to the right of the assignment(s) you wish to deploy to Blackboard.
- Click the second icon on the top right (see image below) and select Deploy/Manage.
- Enter your assignment preferences then click Deploy. This will create the link to the McGraw Hill Connect content in your Blackboard course (located in the folder you initially launched the McGraw Hill Connect - LTI 1.3 tool). To prevent issues we recommend only deploying one item at a time as choosing multiple can sometimes cause an error. If this occurs please contact the Campus Support Center at (479) 968-0646, campussupport@atu.edu or create a ticket at https://support.atu.edu/support/tickets/new
