If you connect the the classroom system and your Laptop is not able to display it's output to the local projector, try the following steps:

1.  Using projector remote, ensure that the projector is turned on and set to the correct input.

2.  Using the Extron button control panel, ensure that the projector is turned on and set to the  correct input (Please see https://support.atu.edu/a/solutions/articles/7000048146 for assistance in this process).

3.  Using the Crestron touch control panel, ensure that the projector is turned on and set to the correct input.

4.  Change resolution and refresh rate on your laptop:

Right click on a space that does not have any icons on your desktop and click on the “Display Settings” option.

In the widow that opens, make sure “Duplicated these displays” is selected, and then click “Advanced display settings” in this same window.

Clicking “Advanced display settings” will send you to another page where you have the option to pull down the “Choose Display” menu and select the display you want to make changes to (Step 1 below).  After selecting the desired display, click on Display Adapter properties below (Step 2 pictured below).

This will open a new window where you will have the option to click the “List All Modes” button.

In the new window that pops up, select the desired resolution and refresh rate (This may take some trial and error to find one that works at your location).  I was told to attempt 1920x1680 with a refresh rate of 60Hz.  The 1920x1680 resolution/refresh rate was not available on my laptop, so I had to select 1280x720, True Color (32 bit), 60 Hertz for the demonstration laptop.

If these steps will still not allow your laptop to be displayed or you have any questions, please contact the Campus Support Center at 479-968-0646 or campussupport@atu.edu.
