Due to a change with how Blackboard ultra courses handle dynamic variables in URLs, your new Ultra Course View shell has a broken syllabus viewer.  However, it is an easy fix with a small change of some HTML.

To begin, you will need the CRN of your course, which can be found in the course ID located in the top left corner of the opening page of your course.

The link for the syllabus viewer is in the Course Information Module.

When you click on Syllabus it will open a page with a viewer that currently cannot find the syllabus that you have uploaded to the Syllabus Repository through OneTech (assuming you have already) and this is what it looks like.

In the top right corner, click on the ellipsis to reveal the Edit option and click on Edit.

In Edit mode you can see the HTML.

Slide the scroll bar to the right until you see @X@course.batch_uid@X@ in two places.

Replace @X@course.batch_uid@X@ with your CRN.TERM.  The current term is 202470.  Be sure to leave the equal sign on the left and quote mark on the right.  Then click on Save.

** NOTE ** If you have a merged course then you must put the entire course ID in this link, not just the CRN.TERM.  For example, the course ID for a merged course looks something like this:  FALL-2024-70004-70029-MCEG-ELEG-4202-001

The syllabus viewer will now display the syllabus from the Syllabus Repository and the link to open it in a new tab will work correctly.
