Blackboard Ultra view courses utilize a different copy approach than the original courses.  It is a "pull" method instead of the old "push" method.


You must complete the course copy from your new course, and pull information in from the old course.  Here are some steps:


1. Click into one of your Ultra courses.


2.  Click the ellipses in the upper right corner and then click Copy items:




3.  All the courses you are enrolled in as instructor will show up on the left panel:



4.  If you want the entire course copied over then check mark it.  It will show up on the right side of the screen.  Finally just click Start Copy:




5. It is recommended to use a more granular approach instead of a full course copy.  In order to do that, instead of check marking the course on the left, just click on the course.  Now some items in the course show up:


 


6.  Then just click in to the particular item.  In this screen shot I clicked on Content.  Now it shows everything in that content folder.  Select what you want and then click start copy:
