Yes, if new employees are brand new to Tech, they will need to activate their account at http://ams.atu.edu; however, if they have ever been a student or employee in the past, their account will already be activated. In this case, their supervisor will receive an email with their username and a temporary password. Once they receive the temporary password, they will need to go to http://ams.atu.edu and change their password there.

Please choose one of the two new employee groups below and follow the procedure to activate your account.

Group 1: You were a Tech student or employee BEFORE.

  • Type in the username and password that you have received from your supervisor.
         
  • Check the "I'm not a robot" box and click on the "Submit" button.
         
  • Review and confirm your security questions and answers. Click Submit after have reviewed your security questions and answers.


  • Review and update your recovery information, and click Submit.


  • Enter and confirm your new password, and click SUBMIT. Please carefully review the Arkansas Tech University password policy for selecting your new password.


Group 2: You were NOT a Tech student or employee BEFORE.

           

          

  • Type in the username that you have received and fill out all the required (*) fields.
         
  • Check the "I'm not a robot" box and click on the "Submit" button.
         
  • Review and confirm your security questions and answers. Click Submit after have reviewed your security questions and answers.


  • Review and update your recovery information, and click Submit


  • Enter and confirm your new password, and click SUBMIT. Please carefully review the Arkansas Tech University password policy for selecting your new password.
