Microsoft Outlook 2013 displays a red X in the place of a picture.

Change the setting for unblocking picture downloads for all messages in Outlook 2013 by following the steps below:

Click the File tab.

Click Options.

Click Trust Center.

Under Microsoft Outlook Trust Center, click Trust Center Settings.

Clear the Don't download pictures automatically in HTML e-mail messages or RSS items check box and then click OK.
