Yes. As enrolled ATU students or current ATU employees, you can download Office 365 to your personal computer, up to 5 different devices, for free. To download, please follow the steps below:


Note: MS Office is provided on every campus-owned computer. When outside of a classroom, students may access the program at the Ross Pendergraft Library and Technology Center.


  • Open your Web browser and go to mail.atu.edu. This will take you to the Office 365 login page.



  • Log in by using your OneTech ID and password as your login credentials.

  • After you are logged in, click on the Office 365 link at the top left.



  • Click the Install Office link in the top right corner and then select Other install options. A new Office Web page will open. 


    Note: If you would like to download Office 365 apps to your smartphone or tablet, select Office 365 apps.



  • Choose a language to install and click on Install. Depending on your internet speed, it will take a while to download and install. Therefore, make sure that your laptop computer has enough battery to complete the entire download and installation process.
