This is has been tested using the newest MacOS - Sequoia 15.0


Important: Make sure your MacOS device is connected to ATU-Wireless.


Adding a PaperCut Printer

1. After connecting to Tech's network, navigate to >> "System Settings".



2. The "System Settings" dialog box will appear. Select "Printers & Scanners" in the list.

3. The Printers & Scanners dialog box will pop up next.  You will click on "Add Printer, Scanner or Fax".


4. You will see the Add Printer dialog box now.  As long as you are connected to the ATU Wireless Network or to the ATU Network, you will see the "universalprintqueue" in the box.  Click on the "universalprintqueue" printer.


5. After clicking on the "universalprintqueue" the "Add" dialog box will display.  Make sure you use Secure AirPrint in the Use dropdown box.  Should look like the setting in the screenshot. 


Your PaperCut Printer is now added. You can now close out of the remaining dialog boxes.


Printing using PaperCut Mobility Print


1. Access the desired document/web page you wish to print.


2. Select the printer/queue "universalprintqueue".


3. Click "Print..." to release the page(s)/document(s) to the Universal Print Queue.


4. The Printing dialog box will pop up and it will say hold for authentication.  Double click on that hold for authentication and you will be prompted for your ATU username and Password.  Once that information is typed in your print job has officially sent.


4. Locate a printer release station. You can swipe your card or sign in with your Tech username and password.


5. Once logged in, select the job you wish to release, and click "Print" next to the job to send it to the desired printer. If you choose to send all jobs to the printer, click "Print All".


6. After your page(s)/document(s) print correctly, click "Log Out" to log out of the release station.
