To recover a corrupt Word file, please do the following:
- Open Word and then open a blank Word document.
- Click on the Insert tab.
- Click on Object and then click on Object again from the dropdown menu.
- Click on the Create from File tab,
- Click the Browse button.
- Choose your corrupt Word file, click on Insert and then click on OK. Now, see if it is able to insert the contents into the new document.
